How do I apply?

Candidates complete their applications online. If you are having trouble accessing the online site, you can send your application by email to up@hydeandassociates.com. Applications must include the completed application form. Candidates may also add a resume if they wish. Application forms are available online at www.hydeandassociates.com.

Am I eligible for the Undergraduate Program?

Are there any deadlines for applying?

There are no deadlines. The Undergraduate Program is a continuous program functioning all year without pause. Applications are accepted at any time of the year. If you applied and your application has not been retained, you are free to submit your application again at any time. Depending on the amount of work required for your geographical area or area of competence, new positions may open at any time of the year.

How will I know you have received my application?

You will receive an automatic response confirming your application has been received. Once the application has been reviewed, we will write to eligible candidates to inform them of the outcome of their application. Due to the volume of applications, only successful candidates will be informed.

I have not received confirmation that my application has been received. What shall I do?

If you did not receive an email confirming your application for the Undergraduate Program has been received, it may have been blocked by your spam filter. Check your spam box. You can add up@hydeandassociates.com to your address book to avoid having emails from that address blocked.

Should I contact Hyde & Associates to check on the status of my application?

No. The Undergraduate Program is an international effort involving multiple countries and candidates across six continents. As such, we try to manage it efficiently in order to give all eligible candidates proper attention. You will receive an automated acknowledgment of receipt, and we will contact all eligible applicants once your application has been reviewed. If you do not receive any communication from us four weeks after sending in your application, you may write to up@hydeandassociates.com to enquire on the status of your application.

How long does participation in the program last?

There is no set minimum or maximum length of enrolment. The Program involves three levels (for a description of the levels, see www.hydeandassociates.com). Participation in Level 1 is timed through a series of tasks with corresponding deadlines. The time required to complete all tasks of Level 1 will vary depending on the person and the country. It may generally be considered to be anywhere from 30 days to 6 months. Participation in Levels 2 and 3 will depend on the firm’s requirements, and the person’s interest and performance over time. Participants are free to join or leave at any time.

Is participation in the Program paid?

Participation in the first level is on an unpaid basis. Participants in the second level are paid per assignment. Participants in the third level are involved in part-time or full-time work, and paid accordingly.

How much training do participants receive from the firm?

The firm will provide appropriate training in practical telecommunications law to participants in all levels. The amount of training increases with each level, with little training being required in the first level, and more so for levels two and three.

What will my work consist of?

The work for each level of the Program is described on www.hydeandassociates.com. Participants in the Program are provided with a Handbook outlining a complete set of details on work assignments.

Where will I work?

Participants may work from any place they want, provided confidentiality is preserved where sensitive information is concerned. We expect most participants will work from home, or wherever else they typically access the Internet for work purposes. You will need access to a computer and the Internet to connect to your personal account on our online portal.

What should I do if I lose my credentials?

Your account credentials are provided to you by Hyde & Associates. In case you have misplaced yours, please inform the Program Manager at up@hydeandassociates.com.

What type of documents am I looking for while performing legal oversight?

You will focus on Regulatory Instruments such as Constitution, International and European Treaties, Law, Regulation, Precedent, Decree, Order or Decision made by Authority of a duly constituted governmental institution. In case of doubt, download it. Refer to the handbook Section 2 – II and to the Filing Guidelines for more information.

Where should I save my work?

All working documents – finalized or ongoing – are to be saved on your personal account on the online portal. All necessary and useful material to perform the tasks will be accessible here.

How should I inform my supervisor I completed my work?

You will submit your work online and will receive a message to inform you about the outcome of your work. For more information, please refer to Section 1. IV. 3.  You will receive a message for very new assignment describing the protocol to follow.
